Painting portraits can be intimidating, to say the least, but Kim wants to show students how to let go of that fear! In this class, students will need some drawing skills to get good contour drawings for their paintings. Students will dissect the face and put it back together, from there Kim will show how to cross those lines to get good connecting shapes from the student’s subjects to their backgrounds. Students will concentrate on composition, the use of color, lights and darks, and where to use soft and hard edges. Participants will gain confidence, learn to be more analytical of their own and other’s paintings, and upgrade their own abilities. www.kj-art.com
