Painting portraits can be intimidating, to say the least, but I want to show you how to let go of that fear! In this class, you will need some drawing skills behind you to get good contour drawings for your paintings. We will dissect the face and put it back together, and from there, I will show you how to cross those lines to get good connecting shapes within your subjects and to your backgrounds. We will concentrate on composition, the use of color, lights, and darks, and where to use soft and hard edges. Participants will gain confidence, learn to be more analytical of their own and others’ paintings, and upgrade your own abilities
